Question Anyone else rooting for Roger Clemens?

This Mitchell report was terrible for baseball and the more you read about it the more it's clear that something ain't right

Anyone else rooting for Roger Clemens to be vindicated when this is all said and done?

And is there a clear racial divide between Clemens and Bonds? No one wants to believe Bonds (except me and a few others, lol) but it seems more people want to believe Roger although there might be more evidence in Clemens being guilty compared to Barry.

Is public opinion already changing with Clemens? And how will the LA Times public apology to Clemens affect what people will think?

Thoughts?

I remain optimistic that Clements will be vindicated.

Nothing to do with race IMO. A lot of people take personality into account and although he's not near Bonds, Clemens comes off as a pompous ass a lot. It doesn't help.

I really have been on the fence with the juice issue since it came to surface with McGwire and Andro. I think that this Mitchell report is so dumb, why the gov't feels it has a place in baseball baffles me. But, I hope that the drug testing they are doing now will help stiffle the entire issue a little bit, because I would like to see the issue come to a sort of end.

Also, on the racial issue, I feel as if it is 100% racially driven between Clemens and Bonds and the public opinion. But, at the same time, Bonds is bigger than Clemens in that he is setting the most prominent records in sports until 1998. Hitters are always loved more than pitchers because they produce daily, as opposed to once a week. Clemens is just as big of a jerk, though, although he is more open to the media. He isn't truly a member of any TEAM as he just shows up when it is his turn to pitch.

IDK, I think both are awesome and I have enjoyed watching both play during my life.

i remain delightfully indifferent as this is a childish attempt by old men to take back "the american pastime."

delete all the lines in the rules talking about what can and cannot be used and simply state that players shall conform to governing laws.

let the police worry about what it is they do on their free time and let the teams (hello Rangers ) focus on what it will take to get on that October game schedule.

Here is the way I look at it. When all the talk about Barry Bonds and steroids were debated. I said then and I will say now. Whether it be Bonds, Clemens or whoever. It has to be proved first and then I will believe it. Until then they are as innocent as you or me. As far as the racial aspect of it. To me I can careless what color a person is, but I`am sure it will play a role for some people.

"Screw you Rusty."
