Anyone had to deal with a stalker in their lives before?

My off and on girlfriend depending on what hour or day we are talking about is dealing with a psycho guy she befriended and I feel completely hopeless

It's a friend of her brothers who latched onto her when she was nice to him one night and talked to him about his problems and she listened to his bs.

After that, he sent her flowers which didn't set well with me but he was just "being nice" according to her and I was just jealous.

Since then, he has been camped out her apartment waiting for her to come home, called her constantly, and is doing everything he can do to steer her away from me. I had posted this before here, but this is one of the things we are struggling with in our relationship.

Here is the clincher. He hacked into her Facebook account and removed me as her friend and unblocked him as a friend. He also hacked into her email account and read intimate emails I had sent her.

She has had him blocked on her phone and I can't convince her to file charges against this ahole for the hacking which by the way is a felony. She just wants him to leave her alone.

I have "friends" who are willing to help me deal with him, but he knows it would be me. The sad part is her brother who is friends with hiim doesn't want to get in the middle of it, and it's his only sister. What a fricking joke.

I have a buddy who is a Minneapolis cop who said he would have a "talk" with him also and it's not even his jurisdiction.

Anyone else had to deal with this kind of crap. It literally ties me up in knots thinking about it.

Sounds like she's allowing the pursuit. Maybe she finds it flattering to a certain degree? If she completely ignores him and deletes her Facebook account he'll eventually go away (or completely snap). Not much you can do about it though, it's gotta be her.

She has filed a report with the police so they are on notice and she has told him to F off also, from what she says. I want her to file charges for the hacking. Was told that restraining orders often backfire really causing some of these guys to go off the deep end. And alot use them to show that these losers have broken the law. This guy already has by the hacking.

And yes, Bob, initially I think she was kind of flattered because she thought I was jealous of him. I just knew the type from past dealings with similar guys the type of person we were dealing with.

I told you so doesn't work so well now with her, but she knows now that maybe yes, I was looking out for her best interests.

Supposedly the brother has FINALLY told him to back off or she will press charges and he has said he will. His word is worth nothing. I'm not a violent person at all, but would have no problem with this guy.

My g/f had a weirdo following her right before I met her. She was in a chat room in AOL back in the day and had mentioned she worked at a Home Depot. The guy not only figured out which location, but used to show up and watch her. Then he'd post stuff in the chat room like "you looked nice in your blue shirt today." After we started dating, he'd send her emails where he'd claim to know of some broads I was banging behind her back.
She got roses at work one year for Valentine's and thought it was me....it was that dude who sent them.
Seemed like he finally got the hint and stopped when he met some girl and they started dating but at first it sounded funny but you can see how it becomes bad real fast.
