Anyone had Laser surgery?

Over the past few years my close up vision has gone to sh++. I refuse to carry bifocals but cant see anything. Has anyone had laser surgery on their eyes?

A friend of mine had it, says the results are unbelievable! He was blind as a bat, and if I remember hearing correctly he now has 20/20. After he got it he even had his parents go do the same even though they had good vision to begin with.

my brother just did it and loves it. I've been wanting to do it for past couple years but just never got around to it. Kinda tired of worrying about contacts and shit tho so might do it soon..

my brother did it a few yrs ago and loved it......i've had glasses/contacts all my life, can't even imagine just waking up in the am and being able to see lol

I'm 43, had it done at 33-34. My only regret was not doing it sooner.

They had a viewing area where you could watch it being done. The lady before me had come out and I said, "that wasn't long, 10 seconds on each eye?" Doc was w/ her and said, "5 seconds in 1 eye, 6 in the other!".

My procedure was 19 seconds in 1 eye and 21 in the other...moral of the story...I WAS BLIND!

20/20 9-10 years later.

I just had it done about 4 months ago. It was one of the most amazing things I have ever done and I only wish I would have done it sooner.

My dad had it. At first he woke up the next day with terribly blurry vision in one eye, but went back in and they fixed it. So, one speed bump, but he loves it now.
