Anyone here into motorbikes?

What have you got? and do you consider it more dangerous than driving a car?

I have two friends who were killed on motorcycles, so obviously not a big fan of them and yes much more dangerous than driving a car

And it also bugs me, that they don't have to wear helmets down here. I don't care about them, if they want to crack their head open, fine but why should someone else suffer if they hit them by accident and they die cause they didn't wear a helmet.

Okay off track I know

I know people who have died also, no-one "real close to me" in my case but still...... and hopefully it stays that way. I have relatives who are right into them which is of concern. That is crazy you don't have to wear helmets where you are!

They have a law that requires kid to wear a helmet on a bicycle but anyone can ride a motorcycle without a helmet

On May 8th, 1996, a Florida Court Overturned their 30 year old Helmet Law. The Court ruled the law unconstitutional!

My last bike was a 750 cc Kawa Vulcan.

I miss it quite a bit and lately thinking about getting a new one...if not this summer then next one.

I would go same size--not too big, not too small. Good for both city and highway distance driving.

Totally agree there should be a helmet law in every state. You don`t have to

wear a helmet in Texas either. Lost a good friend named Brian when he hit a

car and had no helmet on. He cracked his skull wide open. The only

motorcycle I ever owned was a 1973 350 Honda. Had it for a few years and

sold it. Never wore a helmet when I rode it.
