Anyone into NASCAR?

Favorite Driver? Track?
I have been a consistent fan for about 3-4 years now, and i gotta tell you, i look foward to sundays every week all year now (football too). Alot of ppl say "how can you watch a bunch of guys drive around in circles?" Well, go to a race, and see for urself. its a blast.
I like Tony Stewart, and my fav track is Dover Int'l Speedway (because its only 40 min away) i try to go 2x/year there and i get to go into the pits and meet drivers. In June, i was on the actual track, and signed my name on the start finish line.

When I want to get dizzy - I prefer to just run in circles myself.

In all seriousness - I will never understand the thrill of Nascar.

Love it! Finding a driver that you relate to or like for whatever reason is the key to enjoying NASCAR. Or at least it was for me! Jeremy Mayfield was from Kentucky(like myself) so I just started wishing a homeboy well and that's how the addiction started. I could have picked one of the big stars, but they didn't relate to me so I went with my heart instead! Tracks------I have only been to the Speedway in Indy, so I don't personally know the good ones. My friends say that they love Bristol for whatever reason...

I did not get too see much. We had a family gathering at the house and just did not have much time to see the race.

Agreed. Why not just grab a few folding chairs, some 3 week-old Milwaukee's Best, gather up Mary Sue, Cleetus, Jim Bob, and the rest of the kinfolk, mosey up next to the nearest freeway and watch cars speed past each other for free?
