Anyone see a big name music group in concert when they were just openers?

I saw Bon Jovi open up for the Scorpions. It must have been in 1985 or so

not really a proud moment, but i saw 3 doors down in a 200 seat ballroom

and yes, i know u said "big name" music group, but this is the best ive got

Being from the Gulf Coast, I knew those dudes before the label made them change lead singers, back when they were playing Rage Against the Machine covers to 50 people in a beach bar.

And I would def consider 3 Doors Down "big name" now, as I think they've sold at least 10 million albums.

I saw Stevie Ray alot here at a club called Fitzgeralds. We went whenever he came in from Austin. Easy to see he was gonna be big some day. Guy was great.

Hey Judge, I saw those guys play in Galena Park at a thing called the Black and Gold Revue back in the day. Don't imagine a Pasadena boy made his way over there though.
