Anyone see the Supermoon?
We've got clouds and rain in SLC tonight, so we didn't see the moon, but I saw this pic on the NOLA website....



The "supermoon", rising behind the American flag on the AT&T building in the CBD on Saturday night, appeared 14 percent bigger and 30 percent brighter at its peak than usual. Full moons vary in size because of the oval shape of its orbit, with one end closer to Earth. On Saturday, the moon was 221,565 miles away -- the closest to Earth since March 1993.
