Maybe DVDs, but few and far in between.

With how quick technology changes, DVDs are already close to the new VHS, blu ray will be all over shortly, until some thing new and better comes along

I'm still buying DVDs. My collection is just a few short of 2,000:

-Rock Concerts are the best. They keep their resale price value because you can watch those more than once unlike movies.

-War movies/Docs: I'm lucky if I can find one per month now because i have most that's ever been put out. Holds little resale value.

-Horror Movies: up to 5 per month...bad "investment" value. Once a year will clean up 100 or so for trade-in with someone else that's interested 1-to-1.

I still buy DVD's and CDs. Mostly on the used market but sometimes when it's a rare movie that can't be found via the streaming sites or on the net.

Who me? I actually have a couple dozens of those...found a bunch of old porno mags in an empty house I worked on and a sex shop traded them for new DVDs ....also took a couple bottles of cherry & strawberry "liquid Love" warming massage lotion...very tasty.
