Before i got my computer (4 years ago) there is this guy that works for me and he was telling me that he knows all this stuff about computers. I told him i was going to get one and use high speed internet cable for my connection. He said dial-up is cheaper and almost as fast. I went and got one and had a friend of mine hook it up and show me the basics. After it was up and running the guy who works for me came over to the house and was totally amazed at how fast it was. The next day he switched to high speed internet. lol

It almost seems like asking someone if they have cable? There is no way that you can have "high speed" then revert back to dial-up without going postal..

I had to use dial up when my cable went down a while back.I about threw the laptop out the window.How can anybody use it.Cable,I hate their tv but love thier internet.

Still on dial up here. Got high speed at work and there really isnt much difference. Whats the rush people? If your on the computer your most likely just wasting your time away anyway.

Yes... still use my dial-up as a backup.. i'd almost rather be without. ( LOL )
