It depends on the spread. 2-4 points is no big deal. 10 points is.

I've lost on a 12-point dog in OT.
Huge bet too, @ a Vegas book. Game was close throughout and the f*cking Clippers just gave up in OT.

Hate it too, had one earlier this week Bobcats +3.5 at +190 v Orlando, late Magic 3 sent it too OT and they lost by 5.
There are some books that offer betting not including OT on NBA, but only a handful and only conventional spreads.
