Assessment Test for Job!!
just curious if anyone has had to take the Batrus Hollweg Oasis online assessment test. Currently i am going into the final interview with a chain restaurant and before i go they want me to take this online assessment. have really never had to go through this many steps and not really nervous just curious what it is about. They say it takes 2 hours to complete and once you start you have to finish. Any feedback would be great guess i will just sit back tomorrow and take it. Thank You....

I am sure it is just a test making sure you have commen sense & basic knowledge, I would not worry about it to much. GL though, I hope you get the gig.

Well half the test was word problems related to restaurants. Ie.. profits, costs, scheduling, overtime etc... That part was really no problem.. The second half was a personality test Thought i would fail that and it would come out as degenerate gambling serial killer or something.

Well i guess they didnt mind because they just offered me the job at a decent starting salary. I should be bussing table by next week...

It was a joke. Lets put it this way. Im 36 years old married with two kids and I have been in the F&B business for 14 years. If i was bussing tables, well lets just say i wouldnt be married anymore.

Actually its an AGM position with a very credible restaurant company.

I actually stumbled across this site last night,while googling the Batrus Hollweg. I was quite interested in knowing how you did,but now I do see where you accepted the job offer. Congrats to you~

I took this assessment last night,as I am applying for a grocery management position.I have never taken anything like this.Some of the questions were definately out there!

Hopefully I will hear good news,and they offer me the position. Thanks for your post,and again congrats
