Why she did what she did at that time, I can't guess. She may have just been up in the media room eating a sandwich, then comes back down, mic's up, and just then, her producer is in her IFB telling her "hey, grab that guy...he just won." You never know what's going on. She may have thought she wasn't live and that they'd air it a minute or even 2 hours later. Could be a million things.

yeah that is true...i should have just said sport...never watch regular news, but do recall that is probably the case because it is at random most of the time...now with sport it isn't...they generally have the shit planned out who they are going to interview at like halves and what not...and let's say at the end of a championship game and they are on the field or in locker room and are talking to some irrelevant player on the team you still don't hear the question of who the fuk are you...they generally know all the personnel that is involved...she was doing this event..she should have known the people involved
