there's not many good options near the park. all of the nice hotels are in the downtown area (union square). not walking distance to the park though but a quick cab ride. i'd recommend staying there.

yes, visiting friends/fam/potential employers apr 8-13...just so happens padres in town for a 3 game series. I'll prolly end up finding a hotel in the financial district and cabbing it to the park

if someone lives in a given city, why would they generally know anything about the hotels? they have no need for a hotel when they have a house

usually true. although i could give locations and what not to about 2 dozen hotels in chicago
