Bad Poker Streaks

Probably a better spot for this, but oh well. I play a lot of online poker, but not as much recently with a family started. Today, had my first free day in a long time, nothing but poker, football, and a few cold ones.

Anyway, I am on one of those streaks where no matter what you do it is wrong. Not whining, been playing long enough that I know it goes both ways. It just gets to the point where you have to laugh. 1, 2, 3 outers all night long. Get your money in good, then watch as your hand is destroyed.

Taken me a few years to realize and go down in levels when it happens, in the old days I would play in bigger stakes and lose more, now I just deal with it and laugh.

There is my rant for the night!!!

I hear ya man, nothing worse to me then going all in with A-K, having some idiot call with A-rag even though he isn't short stacked, and tehn of course hitting the 3 outer to send you packing. Just bugs the shit out of me.

You playing tournaments or ring games? Either way just try to minimize your beats. Its not so much about what you win, but what you don't lose. Between online and live action, I play 4-5 nights a week and see bad play most of the time. To beat bad players, you have to be patient and just make sure you're going into it with the best hand. No sense in trying to really out play them, just have the hand. A bad player wouldn't know if you were pulling a move anyway. Remember be patient and try to minimize your exposure.

Disclaimer: Fade me or trail me, but you do so at your own risk! This is gambling and trust me you could lose, just ask my bookie! No "megastar galaxy lock of the years or game of the week/year, unless otherwise posted I play everything to win 1 unit! If you lose trailing me, I don't want to hear any crying!

Mostly tournaments today, I won't let myself get in those positions in ring games. In tourneys though you have to force the action sometimes, especially in turbos...which am a sucker for.

Today money has been in good regularly, and the suckouts keep coming. Just one of those days...
