Bald Eagles

First and foremost I am talking about the birds

I have a family of them that lives less than a mile from my house and they are the most beautiful animals to watch soar through the air

Sometimes when I drive to work one of them will sit at the top of this tree in the middle of the river and I check every day to see if he is there

Anyone else have any eagles live by them?

I am fascinated by them

You're a lucky guy, Yank. I absolutely love watching all types of raptors and eagles are certainly the most majestic.

Here in Panama, hawks are abundant and I frequently stop to watch them hunt.

I was in Montana fly fishing a few years ago when an osprey with an eight foot wing span swooped down and pulled a trout out of the river less than 100 feet from where I was standing. I'll never forget that moment for as long as I am on this earth.

Judger, I am going to throw the camera in my vehicle and I will post a photo for ya as soon as I get one

I live in a valley and the woods are 1/4 mile out my back door and that is where they live

Hawks at work in DC are pretty cool..

See Bald Eagles here on the shore every now and again....

We have turkey vultures in abundance....now those birds are huge and nasty looking but very cool to see...

Seth: Fogell, this ID says that you're 25 years old. Why wouldn't you just put 21, man?
Fogell: Seth, Seth, Seth. Listen up, ass-face: every day, hundreds of kids go into the liquor store with fake IDs, and every single one says they're 21. Pssh, how many 21 year olds do you think there are in this town? It's called f*cking strategy, alright?

was excited at thread title... even though I'm an animal planet freak, I was looking forward to some of the human "raptors"
