Love or hate him and most hate the man is rich from playing baseball and is baseball's all time home run leader (steroids!) and is a hall of famer without the homerun title title...IMO McGwire is no different than Bonds one bit.....Bonds just happened to break the record and got more attention because it came after the scandal while McGwire's pursuit came before all the hoopla.

Really no need to call Bonds a racist though.....an A Hole sure but I dont think the two are interchangable, just my thoughts

i didnt care about him one way or other until SI did a piece talking about athletes and charities. they supposedly had one in the bay area and it was to be a quick one and they wanted barry to put his face on it to head it up.
he agrred if he could make his mom the head of it. this charity only raised about 150 g's.....65 of which went to his mom. i lost all respect for him as a man at that point. i dont need to call him names, but that says it all.

trossi, sorry you feel that way. I took a group of kids to a Giants game and the kids were allowed to get autographs and talk with the players. Barry walked out saw the kids and then left the field. The man is a piece of shit and the way he looked at the kids was frightening. I was once a HUGE barry bonds fan but after that day I will never forget what a first class A-hole he was. He can't get a job is proof that he is a , fill in the blank.

Ex-White Sox Ron Kittle walked into the Giants clubhouse at Wrigley Field with a jersey he wanted signed for a charity event. He went up to Barry Bonds and asked him to sign it. Barry told Kittle he doesnt sign for white people. Kittle walked into Dusty Baker's office and told Dusty that if Bonds didnt sign it he was going to break Bonds neck. Dusty got Barry to sign it.

There is a reason that no team has given Bonds an offer. He is a scumbag and if any team wants that piece of crap then they deserve all the b.s. that comes with him.

As for him being racist, do you happen to know how many of your favorite white players are racist towards blacks?

As for him being the steroid king, how many players do you think were on roids as well as him? Here is an idea, the Mitchell report named 85+ and that was from what 2 or 3 sources, 2 of them sources within NewYork. Do you for one second believe that they only people supplying roids in baseball were the two trainers from New York? No suppliers in LA, the west coast, mid west, East coast, etc., etc. etc.

So I think it would be easy to conclude that 50% if not more of baseball players were on roids. I think that makes them all Steroid Kings, and yet they still couldn't hit a baseball like this guy could. He is an asshole, but everything just makes you sound like a whiny little bitch, don't lower yourself to that, its not worth it.
