Smile Baseball Cards/Autographs

thought that there might be some good information out there about cards and stuff.

I dusted off my Kirby Puckett rookie thougth it was gonna be worth something nice...I looked up an auction on ebay and it was going for 20 bucks.lol

I met Mickey Mantle when I was younger and asked him to sign the ball with a "no.7" on it...I was pleased to see that if he signs it with no.7 that its going for more the 2 grand..

I don't have it authenticized but am not planning on selling it anytime soon either....

It is pretty cool though to have... anyone know the ins and outs of this bussiness??

or what cards do you have that are valueable?

Since John Smoltz grew up in my neighborhood, he used to show up at card shows in the area. One year he brought Glavine and Avery with him. I was lucky enough to win a door prize, an autographed high school baseball card of John Smoltz. I still have it. It is rare and also is one of my favorite collection items.

I got Shaq's rookie card from all 3 different brands. They are all framed in this thick plastic case. Last time i checked they were worth about 4-5 hundred each but this was like 8 years ago. I had so many basketball cards and comic books when i was young it was unbelivable. I had to sell all my comic books when i moved here to china and alot of my cards are gone only kept a few of my prized ones....

Man... I got a dozen of Mcgwire and Bonds rookie cards in mint condition, including Mcgwires olympic card.... been holding them expecting one of them to break the record, go to the hall of fame and make me a ton of money.... unfortunately, this steroid debacle is probably killing their value....
