Beer drinkers please take advantage of the "season"

Best seasonals of the year are out in full force

Take a step away from the norm and try some of the fall offerings...you won't be dissapointed

Basically fall seasonals are broken into 2 categories

Octoberfests/Marzens
Pumpkin Ales

Pumking is by far the best pumpkin style

Pumking - Southern Tier Brewing Company - BeerAdvocate

Octoberfests are very abundant and here are some of the top "rated"

Top Beers - Märzen / Oktoberfest - BeerAdvocate

Sam Adams Octoberfest is yummy. But I bought Mexican beer for this weekend. Mexicans are always festive.

Yankee i know you are a bveer fan, have you tried the new Magic Hat seasonal?

Hex: Hex | Magic Hat Brewing Company

or try getting the seasonal variety pack:
Night of the Living Dead | Magic Hat Brewing Company

I'm personally a big fan of the Long Trail seasonals, specially Harvest (right now) and Hibernator in the winter

If you get a chance to pick up an Otter Creek Oktoberfest i recommend it (here is a review: Otter Creek Oktoberfest | The Brew Club), and I dont know if you like stouts, but if you do, try the Wolaver's oatmeal stout. Wolaver is owned by Otter Creek. (Otter Creek Brewing - Handcrafted in Middlebury Vermont)

and if you get a chance, once winter comes, try to get your hands on one of this:

Otter Creek Alpine Black IPA coming soon, Wolaver’s Alta Gracia returns | Beernews.org

I had it at the brewfest here in July and it was great. I think it was the fastest sold out beer that weekend.

Other Fall seasonals i like are:
Harpoon Brewery - Brewers of Harpoon IPA and UFO Hefeweizen

I got others i enjoy, specially in the winter, and mostly stouts and porters.
