Question Before the internet – how did we survive?

Do you ever just think about that?

I am not old but some of the young people here don’t know life pre internet. I know my kids are spoiled from it. Dang, I am spoiled from it.

So has the internet made us smarter, lazier, better, or what?

Thoughts!

Being older than most on this forum I remember trying to get all the out of town newspapers that we could,,, trying to get an edge on our capping games, injuries, weather, and such , then the USA Today came along and we had a lot more info,,,,finally the internet !!! Maybe now we get too much info and over cap the games now,,,lol,,,,plus getting scores CNN was the 1st I can remember having the scores scrolled at the bottom of the TV screen and if you missed your game you had to wait for all the games to be scrolled thru again.

Back in the ol' days, we had to get our porn from magazines. Wow, hard to imagine.

I was very social and had successful friendships. I was motivated and willing to go out and do things. I had more money, more time and more fun. I hate the internet and what it changed me into. Damn the internet!!

I have had the internet all my life and I can't even imagine what it would be like with out it... doing projects, capping games, checking weather etc... Life would sure be much different without it!
