Belize, Grand Cayman Island, Costa Rica

after Mexico and St Thomas this year, why not go for 3 vacations in first 7 months.

Wife and I are planning an anniversary trip in July and ive narrowed it down to 3 places.

want to know if any mallers have experience in any one of the 3 places i listed above.

scuba, snorkeling, some excursions, beach, relaxing, and good food/booze is what we are looking for....

any input on these locations?

WCI, I've been to all three but encourage you to check out Bocas del Toro, Panama before making your decision.

Where have 12 countries filmed their Survivor series including France, Spain, Italy and Russia? The answer is the exotic Bocas del Toro Archipelago de Bocas in the Caribbean of West Panama near the border with Costa Rica. Classic Caribbean aqua blue water fringed beaches washing up against nature dense rainforest and a low key friendly town- these are some of the unique attractions of the islands of Panama's Bocas del Toro archipelago

Costa rica. Stay away from San Jose. Everywhere else is golden.

I actually sent the following to one of BFC's players from CappersMall earlier today about a Costa Rica destination:

I can’t say enough good things about my experiences staying at Costa Verde so look around your website which will do them better justice than I could anyway. All of the information there is accurate. They have a variety of accommodations but if you really want to splurge on a very unique experience, check out the 1965 Boeing 727 Suite. For $400 per day, it really is not a bad deal if you don’t mind spending that kind of jack. However, at $47 per day, the A-11 Bungalow is a steal. I have stayed in this room twice and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. There are many other hotels nearby and also many fine weekly rental cabanas.

Like I said, there are a ton of outdoor activities to choose from in the surrounding beaches and rainforest:

* Titi Canopy
* ATV Tours
* Mangrove Tours
* Sportfishing
* Mountain Bike
* Rivers rafting
* Horse back riding in the rainforest
* Bird Watching
* Rainmaker
* Surfing * Diving Tours
* Sunset Sails Tours
* Nature Farm
* Golf Tour
* Canyoning Tour
* Caves of Damas
* Jet Ski Tours
* Spices Tour
* Turtle Tour Adventure

Solid info judge.

Last time I was there I went to jaco. It was very undeveloped back then which was nice. Don't how it looks now. Any opinion?

It depends what you are looking for.

If you are into cocaine and hookers, Jaco is your spot but in all fairness, the surfing and fishing are very good there too.

Judge sums up costa rica pretty well. I own property just outside Tamarindo and i love it in that part of the country. i have also spent time in Nosara, which has great fishing and is a lot less populated. i was wondering if i could get some St. thomas info from you. Lady and i are going for a week in mid July. Would love some bars and restarants that you tried, which were good. If you decide to go to Costa Rica i can type you some more info about places to stay and some discounts and tours.

Agave Terrace at Point Pleasant is a must. Just east of the Wyndham.

A Room with a View is really nice too. Up on the hill overlooking Charlotte Amalie harbor.

And if you need a break from seafood, Virgilio's (downtown), has some pretty damn good Italian. Pricey but good.

Get there early and have some drinks at the bar, great view.

Try the Desmond Delight.

Butter-poached Grouper w/ the Lobster Cream Sauce is redonkulously good too.

For scuba and sun, I HIGHLY recommend going to the Virgin Islands. Do not stay in St Thomas though. Maybe a night or two, but rent a boat or catch a ride and go to the other islands. The food is great, the beaches are private and clean, water is clear. St Thomas is the "built up" island that everyone stays at. Go a bit more rustic and find a house or resort on one of the other islands.

if you are lucky enough to go to a few of the british virgin islands, you will see island paradises that have literally NOBODY on them. You can boat right up to the shore, grab a drink and hang out as if you're two of the only people in the world.
