Lightbulb Best concert you have ever seen live?

For me - it was ZZTOP in I think 1985/1986. It was an incredible show

ac/dc in the early 90's was my favorite big performance. nerf herder (late 90's punk rock band) was a good show back in college and more fun afterward getting drunk with the band and taking them back to the dorms to party some more, lol.

Alice Cooper 1987 - Boston Garden - Raise Your Fist and Yell Tour.
My bookie (Irish mob boss) got me 6 front row tickets. Sold 2 at 4x face value and brought 4 high school buddies.

WOW!!! - This was Alice's return to his menacing character of the 70's. I remember I wore all white so that when we got covered in stage blood it would look cool - and it did!! Alice chopped off a monster's head that bent over and doused the first 10 rows in blood!! YEAH!!!

Faster Pussycat opened and they were f*cking GREAT!!!! - They did a hair-metal version of the Stones' Honkey Tonk Woman that blew me away!!

They were great in concert, saw them in 82 or 83 at Erwin center in Austin.
Sitting in the nosebleed seats I caught my first contact high that night.

saw dozens of Stevie Ray Vaughan shows, but the one that stands out most was at the New York State fairgrounds (in Syracuse) during the summer of 1986 (on the Soul to Soul tour). He was playing Ain't Gone 'n' Give Up on Love, when the skies open up with one of those massive summer thunderstorms. Everyone is running for cover (it was an outdoor show), but Stevie is standing there on the stage, jamming on this song. He does not budge, while the rain is pouring down on him. He plays the entire song (does not chintz one bit), then tells the audience when he's done that they have to leave the stage so they don't get electrocuted.

Most people leave, but like most summer storms, it passes in 15-20 minutes. The rain stops but it is super windy. Stevie comes back out wearing an indian headdress, with feathers all the way down his back to the floor. The wind is whipping the headdress behind him, and then the band breaks into Couldn't Stand the Weather.

I saw Stevie at least 15 times, and I have probably seen 150 concerts in my lifetime, but that was, and will always be, my most memorable concert moment.

Evan: What? One name? ONE NAME!?!? Who are you? Seal?
Seth: Fogell, this ID says that you're 25 years old. Why wouldn't you just put 21, man?
Fogell: Seth, Seth, Seth. Listen up, ass-face: every day, hundreds of kids go into the liquor store with fake IDs, and every single one says they're 21. Pssh, how many 21 year olds do you think there are in this town? It's called f*cking strategy, alright?

I saw the Doobies who opened up for Steve Miller at the Gorge in George, Washington in about 1995. It was an awesome show in a great environment.

Also, for you country fans out there, Garth Brooks puts on a hell of a show.
