Best flat screen TV?

What is it and who makes it? Plasma or LCD, best picture and sound quality, and features?

panasonic viera definitely on par with pioneer, and less expensive

and that burn in garbage with plasma vs LCD is all a myth, plasma is much brighter and IMO way better for any sports or fast movement action films:

plasma > lcd generally speaking

used to be the lcd was a better bang for your buck but plasma prices are coming down

it all really depends on your price point

IMO the Panasonic Viera and the Samsung LED are nice
