Which are the best sports games for PS3?
Just got a PS3 and want to know which sports games are the best for the system. So far the only game I have is Star Wars Lego. I haven't been a gamer in a long time so I'm out of the loop. Mainly got the PS3 for the Blu Ray player.
I know that the EA NHL and Madden series are good. When do the new ones come out usually?

MLB The Show --- Amazing graphics, awesome gameplay
Tiger Woods 2008 ---- Again great graphics , gameplay is challenging Virtual Tennis ----- Best Tennis game ever made by far.

FIFA 08 is really good too. You can download a bunch of demo's of games on the PS3. That is what I do. I also I have Madden and Virtua Tennis 3 and both games are solid.

I know your looking for sports game but you have to get rock band...my wife and I are far from video gamers and we play this game 2 or 3 times a week......I'm sure it will get old in a couple of months but for now great game.......

U and ur wife play rock band huh? no offense but weirddddddd. Call of duty if great, fifa, and mlb the show. Stay away from NBA games they have been weak the past couple years

MLB the show '08 is an awsome game all around, also enjoy playing NBA live 08, Madden 08.

MLB The Show is fantastic, though it may temporarily be shelved in favor of GTA IV for the next month or 2.
