Mirage for me, just based on the atmosphere.

Weather too nice to be stuck in the sportsbook though, I'd be hitting the beaches hard most of the time.

Ya hit the pool parties. I will be out there the weekend of June 10th. As far as sportsbooks, I like Mirage too.

am i the only one that thinks outside of the convienence of cashing tickets right after the game and getting cash that las vegas sportsbook arent that great.

sure the atmosphere and tv setup is great but for actual betting, their option are very limited except for a few books in vegas. some places dont have halftime ML, reverse RL, PL's. some books there are so limited. being online for majority of betting and then going to vegas and see some of limited plays at some hotels, its hard to like that. hilton has alot to offer but going to lagasse's, their in game wagering is cool, but they dont even have that many options.

Vegas doesn't cater to sports bettors. they offer limited betting and limit your chance to win. they cater to other forms of gaming and making money of their dining and entertainment. Cantor has helped with its in-running betting at places like Cosmopolitan and hard rock and m resort and venetian

THE ART AND SCIENCE OF PICKING GOLF WINNERS
1. CLOSER with CHARACTER. Certain guys see the finish line and cross it and others are destined for second place.
2. RELAXED CONFIDENCE, FOCUS and a HUNGER to win. It's a mental game and their mind has to be in the right frame with a determination and focus. As Harry Vardon said: "To play well you must feel tranquil and at peace. I have never been troubled by nerves in golf because I felt I had nothing to lose and everything to gain."
3. COURSE. Does the course layout favor the strengths of the golfer and does it expose their weaknesses. Previous form can change immediately for those who feel comfortable on a course and its greens.

1. Mirage
2. Aria
3. Bally's

Bally's gives out sweet comps, $10 horse bets to show, drink tix on each.
Even if you take favorites 4-5 to show, drink ticket.
Or, you can bet $200 on a sports event, which I do, but you can get 20 drink tickets the other way. You are not getting rich betting show bets, but you sure won't get killed either.
I never paid for a drink in March, Po and Dave at the Sportsbook bar took care of us. Great people.

I suggest hitting the pools too. Awesome times.

Some of it depends on your history with sports betting. If you're a semi old bastard like me who started betting in the late 80's as a credit player with a local you still like the sportsbook scene. The first time I visited Vegas in 1990, I was in heaven at the sportsbook. Compared to my local action, the sportsbook was a gambler's paradise. Today's online action certainly offers more, but the nostalgia of the Vegas sportsbook can't be replaced in my book. I'm heading to Vegas again for Memorial Day and you can usually find me in the sportsbook for 1-2 hours a day.
