Question The Best Way from LAX to Santa Barbara

A call out to any of the SoCal boys (or girls). What's the quickest way to drive to Santa Barbara from LAX? I'm heading over there with the wife for a couple days of R&R. I've go a GPS, but it doesn't always take you on the quickest route, and I haven't been in LA for about 20 years!

Thanx in advance!

why wouldn't that be the easiest? don't have to leave the airport and just pop on up there by plane

i guess it depends on how long your layover is. really it's not that bad of a drive though (depending on the time of day).
