Bet 365...?

I've been looking at their site, and they have endless amounts of betting options for sites.. even more than pinnacle.. + they have live betting as well...

Has/does anyone use this site, if so what is your take on it?

I have been getting big into soccer lately, and they have tons of european sports + options, but also have every possible thing to bet on for American sports..

Pitt:

I know you're from Hamilton, so I believe you're familiar with Bowmans. Well Bet365 has gobbled up Bowmans or partnered, ahem, so says bowmans. Anyway, Bowmans was always a poor line site with the worst fav lines but not made up on the dog side either. They cater to square betting.

However, if you are a hockey bettor, which I think you are, you don't want this site. This is as bad as it gets. They have switched the 3-way plays, which essentially is the same as Pinnacles -0.5 goal in regulation. You can no longer even parlay this option, as they have switched it to single game betting because they were getting slammed by Canadians playing on Bowmans. This is bush league on all fronts. Similar to OLGC pulling liability on heavy played combos, you know what I mean.

Yes, Bet365 seems to cater to European action in soccer more than most, but it's not my thing. I just think Bowmans made a huge error by partnering or selling out to Bet365. Add on the fact it took me 6 weeks to get a payout just a month ago. Once that happened I pulled all money out and that took me 5 days with a simple bank transfer. Customer service is horrible.

Hope this helps. cheers.

thanks sports profit..
I don't really get what you are saying about the hockey though...
They do have the moneyline 3 way option but they also have Moneyline, the -1.5 puck line, they have pick the final score, they have margin of victory, team to score first, time of 1st score.. highest scoring period... ETC.

at Bet 365 Atlanta is -140/Florida +120.
at BetJamaica Atlanta is -135/Florida is +115

so it is still 20 cent juice..

I use it Pitt.

I'm in love with it. The best on-line book I have used or looked at in my opinion.

The only draw back is if you hit them hard and early, they have been known to limit your wagering amount, hence thier nickname 3.65.

Based in England were gambling flurishes and is legal. Also, take a peek at BetFair. A publicly traded company in England. I think they have more money behing them than the Pope.

Pitt:

What I am saying about the 3 way moneyline is you can no longer parlay it with a couple other games, it's straight bets only.

As for their pricing, yes it's a 20 cent line like most on moneylines, but when you look at 3 way pricing you will see vast difference. I can't give you a current example right now, because their lines don't come out until 11 a.m. or so. But for example, today you have Pitt -0.5 goal -102 over boston in regulation, which is same as 3 way. However, you will probably get bet365 pumping this number out at -115 or higher. On Sunday for example Pitt was -0.5 -170 vs Boston at home. On Bet 365 it was Pitt -210. ridiculous.

Hope this clears it up for you. A weak book in my opinion, unless you're into those props etc....not my interest. cheers.

thanks TSP, and everybody else...

What I think I am going to do is only put a couple hundred dollars in an account at 365... I enjoy how there is live betting. There are many good ways to get value on a team this way. If you really like say Toronto Maple Leafs to win, but you don't bet them... They are down 1-0 early, do you now think no-way Toronto is going to win? Nope. I'd take the extra value and play Toronto to win. Same if you have a team +125 in baseball, they are up 3-0 after the first inning. Depending on the situation, you could hedge the other team on the ML, and gaurentee profits. There are so many ways of guarenteeing and hedging profits, and if you wan't to make money in the long run, this looks like a very good option. They also have MANY european options so I think i'll give it a try, with most of my money still at Pinnacle and then some at bet jamaica..

hey pitt,

i did have a good experience in my years of using bet365 until the past year. like you mentioned, they offer endless options for types of bets, in-running bets for canadian sports (cfl, hockey night in canada, etc), reliable, especially good for 'futbol', etc...

BUT like someone else mentioned.. they limited my bets big time. it all depends on the sport and the type of bets. just to make the point, even a nfl side was limited at under 500 usd which is ridiculous. in-running bets were limited at under 100. i just got fed up with it.

before this, i was with bet365 for a good number of years with no problems. i called them up and they said that they were changing their business plans. good luck with whatever you choose. my hunch is that their new business plans means capping people who actually win at this.

pittviper I have been with them for a while (few years) No limits ever have been imposed!!! 365 is exellent for soccer betting , tennis and rugby .
Also you can move the lines on O/U, asian hp,NFL lines and so on. (NBA,NCCA FB,NCCABK,soccer,NFL).Tonns of options.

Well for thous who are the BIG WINNERS and don't wanna get their limits CUT by the book .My advice. If you won big .You can find a game on (any game) and BACK the opposite side on Betfair. The odds they offer are great so you will not lose your juce.

I have heard this storys before.I can't tell you if they are true or fouls .
I think they limit punters who are good with horse racing .If u bet soccer NFL NBA they will not even bother.

Anyway StanJames another British Bookmaker that is GOOD .They don't limit period (the only difference you can't move the line by more then half a point)!!!!
Pinnacle with less options
Ladbrokes another British Bookmaker .I like them too .They are great book.

GL. Big boy .

i have been satisfied with bet365 BUT would warn against hedgling live bets!
although it has happened only once my live bet which was 'accepted' has been cancelled before. computer glitch reported and i saw it too...all it was a delay of few seconds. anyway other than that they are pretty good. good for take my money roundrobins! and yes the options and the type of parlay bets u can make is an educating experience.
