It was pretty bad. I tuned in hoping to see some decent performances due to the "tribute" theme and was very disappointed.

to be fair they only had about 2 days to change up the whole thing...i thought the end with janet and then the singing of ill be there was pretty good. i'm sure there will be another tribute show sometime down the line

Agree here. I watched about 10 total minutes of this awful show, but saw both these incidents.

I lost a lot of respect for Jamie Foxx. Sounded like an idiot. Sounded like he might have just been playing to the mostly black crowd, but I guess he never considered "some-us white folk" may be watching!

But Diddy was even worse. What an ignorant fool! When Elvis and JFK died we had exactly 3 TV channels plus PBS. Yet, I think we all think of JFK with Marilyn Monroe and Elvis ODing on the toilet. And now, with 700 stations, and at least 10 of them devoted to all-day news, how can you be upset when they get around to the negative stuff after a couple days? Especially with a weirdo like Jackson! Even non-news types should realize that you've got to fill that "news hole," and you've run out of everything else to say! Talk about the controversies, because if you stop talking about Jackson altogether, people will change the channel to find someone who is talking about him. The Jackson death is good for ratings! So, shut up, Diddy! (Is Diddy even relevant anymore?)
