Bet Jamaica prepares for Hurricane Dean

I hope that Scotty and his crew are prepared for this storm as it looks to be heading right up their alley. I doubt that many would fault BJam if no one was in the office during this storm so keep that in mind if you experience problems with the site or can't get through to customer service in the next couple of days.

Stay safe, fellas and we'll be thinking about you.

It's a bad storm and getting worse. Hopefully they all will stay safe!

Per an email I received from Scotty, once winds exceed 50 mph in Jamaica, they will flip the internet satellite dishes up side down until the winds are less than 50 mph. If the website goes down, you will know the winds exceeded this limit. Also BetJam's primary phone numbers will also go at that time. The back-up phone numbers through an undersea fiber optic line are (877) 906-5666 and (877) 906-3730.

It's going to get ugly. Expect some downtime for the Greek, Bet Jamaica, Wagerstreet and Poker World. They will do their best to get thing backup running when they go down as fast as possible

Good luck to all!

Looks like the eye of the storm just missed them. I hope everyone made it through safely.

I didn't experience any downtime from betjam all weekend and all of my wagers were paid right away. Nice work down there guys!
