betting exchanges?
anyone have any prior long term experiences with betting exchanges like betfair?
Just curious to hear about experience, strategies, negatives and positives. I'm thinking about trying one of them out and seeing if the profit opportunity is higher than a traditional sportsbook Anyways appreciate any info or stories thanks

betfair is non US right?
they are huge in Europe I know that and big in the EUR poker world as well

Been for betfair for a long time. Some of the main pros and cons for me :
*Pros -very market competitive prices -great sports trading possibilities, better than any other book or exchange -hassle free deposits and withdrawals eg all done by clicking a few buttons no need to contact anyone -Great live betting system eg not suspended every 5 seconds like alot of other places -The ability to lay *Cons - OFTEN can be very difficult to get your bets matched, highly frustrating - similar to above lack of liquidity
