Big 10 Fans, here is what Neb fans bring to the table

ok , so we all know that Nebbie won the B12 North title yesterday.

Anyway, they usually have a B12 rep from the commisioners office, and usually the commish himself, present the winning team a trophy.

Not this time:

Due to the ober 2000 emails full of hatred and threats from Neb fans to the commissioner Beebe's office complaining about the 'bad and unfair ' officiating.
Beebe did not feel safe coming to Lincoln.

Quoting from the Omaha World Herald this morning:

" Beebe said he and his family received death threats lately from Nebraska fans "

" We had a threat that you're going to die and your family is going to die in your house ."

He also received a phone call from someone impersonating a police officer telling him that they ' have his daughter ' ( who is away and in college ). and she is unresponisve.

He went on the mention that he has been in many tough cases before, including the SMU death penalty from years ago, but he has " never had to deal with this amount of vulgarity and nastiness. "


Really, can the Big 10 rethink this whole deal ?
