Big screen Televisions

Just asking guys for some help. Just spent a few hours looking online for a big screen

Anyone that can help me out would be appreciated

Led LCD plasma etc....

Just looking for biggest bang for your buck type of thing... Low end 1000

High end 2000... 55 to 65 inch... Don't need a long explanation but if you wouldn't mind throwing something out there or what you have (and like) please let me know.

Best buy? Circuit city? Stores would be helpful as well...

Thanks

i just bought a projector and a 110" screen of kijiji for 200 bucks< hooked it up to my computer and stream all my sports. if u got the room i'd give it a shot. just make sure u spend as little as possible until u find out if u like it or not. i am definitely upgrading to a better one down the road.

Just seen a Vizio 55" LED (or was it LCD, wasn't plasma) at Walmart for $988. Damn near bought it, gonna do some research on Vizio...

Had the router/wireless internet (sorry, computer illiterate) where you could watch netflix from the TV (don't need wii/x-box/etc).

That's not that great a deal. If you have the space for a projector, this one is a great entry level one with 1080p with excellent reviews and can be found for under $1000 pretty easily.

Optoma Projectors: Optoma HD20 DLP projector

What's the big deal about wall mounting a TV...space saving? That's nuts. Either way you can't have anything in the viewing lane. All those holes in the walls that I have to plaster before I paint a house adds to my paycheck

It does definitely save space. It depends on the room.. and ours is shallow. I was standing in the corner when I took this. My wife likes the "no wires" look.

Does it get annoying if you have to look up at the TV constantly. Looks like you have your chairs and every thing level almost with the TV, just think it would annoy or bother me

Cant say its annoying.. no one else has said that either. Its tilted down so you don't have to look up much if at all.

Yeah, it does save space in more ways than one...It was early morning when I wrote this and was looking at it in just one dimension.

Nice crown moulding, flooring and seems like plenty of windows in your LR-DR...but you need deco skills--I would NEVER put a TV on such narrow wallspace...must be centred on a wall 4X its' width for aesthetic-wise look (if you care for it). The way you hung it is for sports bars that has an extra angle of odd seating. But if you're happy with it that's what counts
