Biggest Concert Night of the year..who you seeing?
NYE is easily top concert night of the year...who we going out and seeing?
been seeing shows for nye for past 6 new years...makes the night way less pressure filled to have a good time, worrying about which party to go to, where ill stay, how ill get there...just grab a room downtown chicago and let the band throw the party. i will be at the riviera theatre on the northside tonight seeing umphrey's mcgee and then going to dj spots til brunch the next day for mimosas then wrigleyville for early bowl action then bulls/cavs at nite-makes for a pretty awesome tradition my friends and i have developed over past few years

Don't think I've ever been to a concert on NYE. Of course, haven't been to a concert at all in years either.

I'll be in Vegas sitting in the club listening to a Blues band tonight! Absolutely love hearing a good Blues band playing!

Thunderfist is playing at one of our hardcore bars. Tough Tittie is opening.
Deny Your Faith is playing elsewhere, along with Meat and Our Dying Day. Actually, only posting these because the names always crack me up. We have bands here called Steady Machete, Cobra Skulls, Girl in a Coma, Laserfang, Snake Robot, Cornered by Zombies, and of course, Die Monsters Die. For an exact opposite crowd, with less blood-spitting and more turtlenecks, Jewel is playing downtown.

didn't realize this was a big night for concerts lol saw rusted root over 15 yrs ago on NYE, no idea who's here but probably someone who sucks balls

I saw the 3 Tenors back to ring in 2000 in Van, tonight it's just a solid cover band, but it should be lots of fun.
