Blackstone????

I know the price has crashed since the announcement on the tax ruling, but where does this stock go from here. How much lower does it go? They have some brilliant minds running this company as far as pedigree, but what is the future? I'm willing to take a risk as far as going long, but hate to buy at $25 when I may be able to buy at $20 in a few weeks. I know whodi and goods have followed this a little. Just looking for some opinions.

Whats up Ghoopin. It is very hard to predict how much lower it can go. I have mostly daytraded the stock or held it for a day or so. As far as long term, If I were you, I would wait for it to stabilize 1st and form a base, so then you have something to work with. Right now, it can keep dropping, its like a guess trying to pick a bottom here when it has not settled yet. One sign for a bottom from my experience in trading, which has been very successful is when there is a VERY HUGE VOLUME DAY, and the stock has taken a big hit and rebounds around 50% back up from the low, which a lot of times symbolizes Institutional buying but as I mentioned early, I personally would wait for sometype of stabilization before getting in, but that is just my opinion.

Same here. The stock is brand new and impossible to tell where it might bottom. I've only daytraded also.
I agree they have a great group running it but that doesn't guarantee success for the stock price.

I find that selling below the IPO price already and the sheer volume of shares offered is a sign of weakness, near term anyway. Reminds me of the AT&T Wireless IPO years ago. Came out at $30, hit $33 and tanked from there.

Long term, you could apply the Jim Cramer method of buying in chunks. Say you want 1000 shares. You buy 250 now, add 250 at a time later. Up or down, you're risk is lower.

I know this stock hasn't been out a real long time but do you think it will pay a dividend ?
