BoDog bought cybersportsbook

Just found today when trying to make a deposit that csb got bought out by bodog. How is bodog? Seems like a cool site, I usually use betcris, but have had issues making deposits for some reason, so I'm using bodog for right now. How is the poker site?

I always liked bodog.. been using them for years. People bitch how they hand out dual Lines ( Two different set of lines ) to the adjusted bettors.. but you can use it as an advantage if you use multipul books. You can get some pretty good swings using bodog.

I'm gonna get out of that place and move to tradewinds if that's true. Is it merely a paranoid rumor or what?

If they adjust their lines to the player's betting style they are not a great book in my mind. Is it for real?

Yes, they deal different lines to different players.

Players who tend to take a lot of underdogs or make plays considered “sharp” get dealt lines very much in the market consensus so that they will almost never find anything of value if they line shop with other books.

Players who tend to bet like a “square” and play popular public teams and favorites—or just who are too new to have been profiled yet—are dealt lines that more often stray from the consensus, in the direction that will have them paying extra to bet those public teams and favorites, and getting a correspondingly better price if they bet the other way. (Though once they start betting the other way, they will be switched to the valueless “sharp” lines, so any advantage you gain from “tricking” them by betting contrary to what they expect will be short-lived.)

It is not uncommon. Many books do it. Many books do not.

Jimmy...Bodog poker is a great site...the best kept secret...especially if u like SNG"S...... IMO.....Sportsbook...however..is ok, I use them...but the lines fluctuate too much , for my liking. Still get good value, at times though. I usually end up making most of my wagers@BetCris , when comparing lines....hoping they get better means of funding accts. soon.
