Books are thinking ahead for funding options

One way that books are figuring to get around the restrictions the Unlawful Internet Gambling Act places on funding accounts is a debit card. BetJamaica has had one available for a while and now BetCRIS is making this option available as well. These cards are issued by foreign banks which are not restricted by the new law.

The following is a message I received from BetCRIS when I inquired about their new dedit card at debitcards@betcris.com:

Upon receipt of a card the cardholder must go to www.cardoneplus.com to activate their card. Cardholders enjoy powerful capability and extreme functionality globally. Users enter a PIN (personal identification number), typical with other debit cards, at point-of-sale, ATM machines, or on the Internet. Card holders can track and monitor all day-to-day activities securely using the Internet cardholder interface. Cards can be reloaded online via ACH/EFT transfers, wire transfers and credit card loads. The cards are reusable, multi-purpose, flexible and secure.

BetCRIS Debit Card gives you the power to purchase at retail, transfer money to loved ones without the high cost of wire transfers, give cards to children and monitor spending, or give gifts without having to deliver unsecured cash. blamed the third party for lousy customer service, maybe they will reinstate in the future

BetJamiaca's card was a Visa and likely would not have been able to be used once the regulations are put in place. I'll check with Scotty at BJ to see what their plans are but I think that this will be a solution that we will see many books follow.

Bet Jamaica is switching debit card companies. They are not getting rid of it altogether and are looking in to alternatives for the debit card.

Judge, Do you think if the Democrats take control of Congress and the Senate after this years election, that the new law could be repealed. As a Tennessean I'm appalled at what Mr. Frist has done and don't know if I would ever vote for a Republican again.

just got a post card telling me to request betcris debit card, also they'll be offering a $100 with the deposit of 100 using debit card, plus double bet points. I would imagine the free hundred is a free play, but anyway it sounds like a nice promo, plus a very convenient way to do business. to cris

am a pretty small player, but have had a very good winning streak and have withdrawn almost $12,000 in the last 2 weeks. Has anyone ever heard of any problems from their banks with a wire transfer? What method do you use to withdraw money from your online accounts?
