"Borat" suprises, takes #1 at Box Office

The movie "Borat" surprised everyone by taking 1st at the box office, this weekend. Everyone thought Santa Claus 3 would take it.

Borat finished with $26.4 million, at only 837 theaters, compared to the Santa Clause with $20.0 million, at 3,458 theaters.

And to think that Santa Clause 3 was at over 2,500 more movie theaters and still lost by $5 million. I know the "Ali G" guy sold the sequel for over $40 million. And it was a huge bidding war with the movie studios. He's a rich man, now
