Some info to be ready for on Wednesday Goods.

Wednesday
TiVo (Nasdaq: TIVO) will give investors a shot at hitting the "thumbs up" or "thumbs down" button after Wednesday's quarterly report. Analysts see a substantially narrower loss for the period. The company's financial statements have been improving lately. TiVo always seems to have cool announcements, though anemic subscriber growth keeps that party in check. Will it be more of the same come Wednesday? Let's find out and see if it's a report worth replaying.

Thursday

Have the alert set. Wednesday after the close. I'm concerned a bit about guidance, being that the cable companies have cut so much into TIVO's business. But the bottom line looks better. Here's something from Motley...

TiVo may be a surprising winner, since the stock has been waffling about in the single digits for ages. However, the company's finances -- and fundamentals -- have been improving lately. Instead of subsidizing hardware the way it did four years ago, TiVo's more promising opportunities these days lie in licensing its patents and delivering DVR-friendly solutions to advertisers and media networks.

18% short also. Sparkling quarter could squeeze em a bit.

Nice info Goods plus with a stock trading at these levels, gives you more flexibility. It's not like a 40-50 dollar stock with bad news that will drop 8-10 points being its trading at the mid 7s but don't get me wrong, I will have a stoploss if it looks to be breaking down.

I am keeping this into Wednesday because of the price level. Still have entire position.

Gonna take the rest off here @ 7.96 (+0.30). Don't care to hold into earnings. Nice news today with the Entertainment Weekly deal.

Worked out good. I usually like to sell on the initial good news but I saw the revenues were going to be lowered before the drop and was lucky to get out.

Nice work catching the top. I saw it dropping after the pop but didn't see why.
