Bovada Poker

Bovada Poker Room has replaced Bodog Poker in the US market. This new poker room uses updated propietary software with great new features and some great promotions specifically designed for US players. Bovada Poker offers the most common types of poker including Texas Hold'em, Omaha, Omaha Hi Lo, Draw poker as well as Stud.
*
Bovada is a US only poker site, however they share a player base with international players via the Bodog Network. This should keep the traffic the same or even increase it. The poker room also sees alot of gamblers playing thanks to their Sportsbook and Casino. Their promotions and bonuses at Bovada are very good. Most noticably is the 100% signup bonus and weekly $100,000 guaranteed tournament. The bottom line is if you enjoy playing at Bodog you will enjoy Bovada.* The two are very similar

has anyone tried this yet?

Always a little weary of any casino/poker style game run through a sports book. Haven't tried it, but think the word "fix" is what comes to mind. Heard nightmare stories of online gaming at books.

I have played there. Dumped 200 to the site and went back to sportsbook.. It was not good to me. I like sit n gos though and especially like the turbos and they didnt really have much variety and they did not fill up quick at all. It is better to me on sportsbook but they are all scammish...

Haven't played there in a while but there's a couple of plusses about the site. Most important is they don't allow tracking software to interface so the number of pro/good players players is much less than elsewhere. Second, the association with a sportsbook is usually a huge plus bringing in weak players with flush bankrolls.
