Bowl Games
I always enter several bowl contests every year. Against the spread, confidence pools, etc. Started doing my research this morning, and I can't ever remember a year where every game seems like a coin flip. 35 total games this year, here are a few of the stats:
Only 4 games where the spread is double digits. 29 of the games the spread is 7 or less. 17 of the 35 games the number is 3 or less, with 4 additional 3-1/2's right now depending on where you are looking. I don't remember a year like this previously, am I wrong? Either way, should make for some fun in the confidence pools. Not many easy ones on the board so should make it more exciting! In the confidence ones, it is always just sides. However, I do a different one where all games are weighted equal, and you have to make 35 picks total.....1 from each game. In that one you can use the side or total. |
