Once considered the toughest man in the NHL, a tough fighter, & a fan favorite in Minnesota, the "Boogeyman" - Derek Boogaard lost his fight with addiction - plain & simple. Derek came home after a night of drinking with friends & in the early hours of May 13th his body was discovered by Aaron. Now the Boogaard family stands to lose a 2nd son if Aaron is convicted. My question is.. Are all the people he was out partying with going to be charged as well or just the brother who happened to live with him?

If you read the story his brother gave him a percocet to "kick the night off" then dumped his brother's stash of pills down the toilet. That's why he is getting charged.
