Canadian vs. American TV
Me being a Canadian with out digital cable and ESPN and FSN and all that jazz, visiting the States is like SO MUCH SPORTS! ESPN is amazing i am going home and getting digital cable right away. Just wanted to see what ppl have to say about Canada's lack of good sports channels

The CRTC wants to "protect" Canada's interests so they are keeping the American stations out.

TSN, etc etc does have full access to ESPN.
They just can't show it, maybe one program here and there.
Their highlight packages are from ESPN.

Yea i know i want the coverage tho... :/ and the programs... Their are never any good games on its all Toronto sports... and I hate Toronto

You need the address of a friend in the US.
Then sign up for satellite service using that address.

Some Buffalo distributors even set up bogus mailboxes simply for this purpose.

Its not illegal if you have a US billing address.

Just talk to some distributors near the border.
Tell them you are Canadian and is interested in American TV, and you have heard some Canadians have been able to achieve their goal by having some kind of US address.
They will know exactly what you are referring to.
I am sure they have a "work around"

Pudge what you talking about man? If you spend the extra cash, you get all of the american channels + the canadian channels like TSN + Sportsnet +The Score......

I am sure you can do the same from the states...
