Canadien Bank Accounts ??????

Trying to be proactive considering the new antigambling legislation and wondered if I could get some help from our Canadien friends at the mall ! I'm close to the border near Buffalo and am considering setting up an account in Canada . Is there anything I should take into consideration as far as where I set up my account or is there legeslation up North that hinders money transfers as well ? I don't think so but certaintly don't know for sure. I checked out the judges link and realize there is that option as well offshore but feel more comfortable having it closer to home ... Any information you can offer is much appreciated !!!!!!

No problems here with setting up or funding accounts.
The cDN banks may not let you set up new banking accounts without showing valid ID for that province though. Not sure.
Go over to Niagara Falls on the CDn side. There is CIBC, Roayl Bank and a Scotia bank all within walking distance on Lundy's lane.

I also use an offshore, but it is set up differently than the others , becasue I do not have ot fund my account to bet. If I win the amount stays in my offshore account, If I lose than my cresit card gets charged the amount I lost.
Works pretty well, quick pay outs etc. Have been with them for 5-6 years now.
Called E-Z bet or allsports.
Not sure what the legal ramifications of this are if you are a US citizen.

holy shit... I'll add you to the list I posted the other day of people who do not know how to spell Canadian...

JGB... I have seen about 15 posts of yours where you have said Canadien... I am not questioning your intelligence, but please learn how to spell Canadian.. it may come in handy in the future...

Take all your money across the border.

The banks will even let you open a separate account in AMERIKAN funds.
