cappers, cap this trivia:

The optical instrument for viewing objects at a distance such as planet Saturn is a TELESCOPE.

The optical instrument for making magnified images of minute objects such as a bacterium by means of a lens is a MICROSCOPE.

The auditory instrument used to detect body sounds such as from the heart or lungs is a STETHOSCOPE.

...it gets harder...

The device for viewing oscillations on a display screen of a cathode-ray tube is an OSCILLOSCOPE.

...and harder...

The device when a wheel mounted in a ring so that its axis is free to turn in any direction, so that when spinning rapidly it keeps its original plane of rotation is a GYROSCOPE.

...and now the hardest question:

What is the name of the optical disambiguation scope for viewing though a wall of a building?

Answer: ?

I do not know if builders use one or not, a company did make one for battle situations called the Radar scope. This was all I can find, but I really could of tryed harder.

They also have Thermal Image Cameras, but that is not a scope.

Go to your nearest moderator and collect your prize--a 24k gold pocket watch (est. value $3,200.00).

All the other answers were still ok, but "window" is what the trivia comes with.

Sorry Grizz, Mr. Who was first. If he doesn't collect the watch then it's yours

What throws it off is "disambiguation".

I didn't get it at first but it did cross my mind!
