CappersMall POD – NEW CONTEST STARTS TODAY - Aug 1 - Post here

Thanks to snowman for keeping up with the daily scoring!

You are allowed 2 BEST BETS for August.

In order to play in this contest for August - YOU MUST have an account with Bet Jamaica who will be sponsoring the contest. If you do not have an account - click here to open one.

1. Starts Aug 1st

2. We will post a thread every morning in this section.

3. You post your best pick of the day. Max of one per day.

4. You must post your line at the time of your post. Please include the full line and make sure it's current. Example - Florida/Philadelphia over 10 +100

5. You must post the game clearly or it will not count. If you are picking a team that can be multiple sports, specify the sport. Please avoid abbreviations and make it as simple and clear as possible.

6. You may use any sport that any legitimate sports book offers a line on. It must be available at a regular, legitimate book. In case of a different time zone the game must be played the day of the POD thread.

7. Odds: In baseball all money lines are scores as posted (dogs and favorites at regular price). All standard run lines are posted at regular price. Example: Yankees -1.5 +125, Redsox +1.5 -145. ALL Alternative run lines and all other types of bets are allowed however, the MAX price given on a DOG will be +200. If you play an alternative run line that pays +280, you will get +200 if the game wins. NO FAVORITES (except baseball ML) over -200 will be allowed at anytime.

8. With rule #7 above in mind - You can use any type of wager/pick you want.

9. All picks will be 1 unit.

10. *** You will be allowed two best bets (per contest) that is worth 3 units each. Clearly mark it when you use this game.

11. Once a pick is entered - IT CAN NOT BE CHANGED, modified or deleted. In the case of a rainout or cancellation you can repost a pick. In the case of a pitching change and you marked it "listed" you can make another pick.

12. Pitching changes: You must a pick "listed" if you are listing pitchers. IF you do not mark it, it will be graded as action.

13. Minimum of 20 picks will be required for prizes.

14. You can play any time of the day as long as it's before a game starts. Time Stamp is off slightly. I can clearly tell if you post a game after the game starts. Please don't do it.

15. SNOWMAN (thanks snowman) will post standings and try to have them done daily. If you notice a mistake, please post the problem in the current
standing thread. Please be specific as possible when explaining the mistake.

16. NO LIVE BETTING or HORSE RACING picks for this contest.

quick question.
i want to play all these contests but i dont have an account with BJ.
I know.. its free... so i'll open one but here is my question:

-if i win can i transfer the prize to somoene else?

i ask because for example for this prize, the winner must be an active account member at BetJam. I use a local so i prob wont be playing anything at BetJam. If i win (i know, wishful thinking...), i would hate to take 20% of the prize when the person below me could make 100%...
i am just trying to be considerate to fellow mallers... if you cant thats fine.. i'll prob just keep track of my record for the next season... if its worth it... i'll make a play 7 days before the contest is over...

Prizes for this contest can not be transferred to anyone else. But I will tell you betjm gave a lot of money away in contests to this forum last year in football

Every day Dr. Jack posts a thread the same as this one for the day. You use a line from your online book and post your play of the day.You get 2 best bets per month that are worth 3 units. Everything else is to win $100. Its free man and you can win some good cash. You just have to make a bet every 7 days at Bet Jamaica to be eligible for 100% of the prize if you win. If you don't you still win 20% though.
