car people

my overhead light turned on for no reason last night while driving home from this new girl im seeings house and whatever i did i could not turn it off i slammed all doors every thing and coulod not get it off , so i wake up this morning expecting to have to charge my car and take into the shop but the light is off and my car starts fine but again the light is back on and i cannot get it off....anyone no what is going on here?

jaypa were other things starting to go off such as the time or lights or spedometer etc... that happened to me where 1 by 1 they were slowly going off and there was some box inside the car my dad got a new circuit box or something like that and it fixed it.. or it could be a problem with the battery
