but i've noticed people lateley going into coffee
shops buying $2 coffees then
debiting them,
or ordering a $6,7 take out meal and puting it on visa?
$5 groceries on debit?
no cash for that ..? lol

i could tell you all my cash spending for 2 weeks for
booze , smokes , groceries , hair cuts , clothes ,
dry cleaning , gas ,
doobies , car maintenance , etc

I carry a couple hundo, drivers license and debit card.

Gas, bar tabs, eating out on card. Cup of coffee/bottle water/etc pay cash. If it's less than a $20 bill I pay cash.

Most banks will have a "LIMIT" on the number of
FREE
transactions you can use on your debit card...
watch it this month and tell me if i'm wrong..

(unless maybe you have min thousands sitting in there acct
generating min interest)

If you're charged $ 20 in fees
per month x 12 or $240 per yr for an ex
, why not take out the cash?

I use a combination. It really depends on what my plans are. I will try to pay cash frist, but some places I go are cash and carry, so I have to save the cash for those places. It really depends. I prefer cards at markets, restaurants, etc... It is a lot easier if you keep good records.
