what if the "predator" is a man that is a preacher or motivational speaker and he pretends to lust after a 14 year old online. But his intentions are to go to the house and make sure the girl never trusts an adult to interact with her like that?

Just as Chris Hanson and crew are "pretending" to be a 14 year old girl that goes along with ANYTHING. And when the predator comes over, the girl asks each guy if they have condoms. Not the guy, most of these dirtbags would bring it up in a minute or two ....... but she beats him to it almost every time. Just saying that they are doing the same thing kind of and egging on eachother. I think it is possible for the TV to send a stupid but innocent guy to jail sooner or later.

They play the Internet game like its real life - as if everyone in a chat room (or a sports forum) represents who they really are... The Internet is and always will be Fantasy Land. I'm not going to say I'm glad this happened, but something like it was bound to happen eventually. I would have rather seen someone stab Hansen right in the f*cking eye though....

Don't get me wrong, I'm not defending the pedos; just saying that this is entrapment for entertainment purposes. They don't give a flying f*ck about saving innocent children - they just want to sell air time... all about the ratings. And now someone is dead. Way to go Dateline.
