Lightbulb Which category do you fall into right now ?

I never used to be like this......but I now find myself enjoying a sports event alot only If I have a large bet on a game. Sure there are times when I can enjoy a game with a small bet or no bet (though that is rare). But generally my most enjoyable games to watch are those which I have a big bet on. Putting aside if at the end of the day u win or lose the bet.........

Which category do u fall into right at this point in time ?

I used to love games when I had a big bet now it's the opposite. It kind of ruins the game (unless I am winning of course)

im with jack

dont watch a game with a big bet and can enjoy anything else regardless with at least some action

no action must be a great game (Florida/Tennesee) type to enjoy

Yeah I think everyone goes through phases...........will be interesting to see how many reply "no bet". Now for me watching a game with no bet can be like watching paint dry lol

If u had told me that 10 years ago I would have said no way I would think that way.

NO BET

With nothing on the line (i.e. money, emotions, etc) you can be truly unbiased and see the game in a more "truthful" light

Agree with the reasoning , bias and money on a game often clouds your judgement and the way u see the game.

i'm too much of a degenerate to enjoy a game much without a small bet on it.
If its a larger bet, i'd rather not watch, i get to worked up.

I prefer not even watching games that I have money on

Too many emotional roller coasters. My favorite bets are Hawaii football games where I place my bet and go to bed and wake up a winner or loser

What is small, med or large? It is different for everyone.A large bet to me is probably peanuts to everyone else.

Relative to how you would bet, I imagine.

EXACTLY!!
You took the words from my mouth. LOL

Most recent example;
Enjoyed watching the Indy/NYG game on Sunday night right up until the time late in the game(a few minutes left on the clock) when the score was (23-21 Indy),NY had possession and then after a questionable offensive pass interference call against Tim Carter denied New York a first down at its own 37,this inadvertantly led Eli Manning to be intercepted by Nick Harper on the next desperation play! At this point in the game as I have to turn off the TV
(as I have a bet on the Giants +3.5-135(bought the hook) ).Can't bear to watch at this point as one knows exactly what is going to happen and sure enough upon awakening in the morning and seeing the final score 26-21 Indy,I was not surprised!
