cd rates?

Any bankers here?

Why is it that one bank offers 2% but then I can drive a few blocks and get 4.42%. The 2% bank asked me why I wasn't renewing the CD.

my checking is paying 5% and the CD at 4.42% is a 3month CD.

Bro you can get like a 4.60 rate on a 6 month and prob close to 5 on a year cd. I know some credit unions also offer like a 10% cd rate for a 1k CD to the members for 1 time.

I know but I like to keep the money somewhat liquid. 3 month increments is what I look for. A year is too long for my situation.

Dan is missing in action. Wouldn't you be hiding out if you helped detectives and sheriffs shut down a book? He was in a major hole and instead of getting on a payment plan or facing his debt like a real man he got scared and ran to the police. Paranoia is a MF'er to live with. And I'm one of the nice ones because I have a family and don't want to mess anything up. I took the pinch like a man and am done w/ that lifestyle. But some of my associates are real dirtbags and aren't married and don't have kids so they don't have a problem w/ assaults and whatnot because they don't care. Danny is going to have to face these guys and I feel real sorry for him. He was a lowlife drug dealer who still lived w/ his mom. We will see him get pinched in the paper one day for selling to high school kids or he will be arrested for back child support payments. Then my associates will know where to find him.

I was by no means the brains or kingpin of the whole thing. I was at the very bottom of the ladder fielding calls. I started working it for extra money in college and continued it after college. Google the Medina county and Cuyahoga county bookie arrests.
