Celebrity Brush Off-anyone have one

I had one quite a few summers ago with Billy Idol. I was walking along Yonge St and popped into a CD/DVD store and inside Billy Idol was in the back signing promoting his new CD. In the 80s this guy was huge and now there must have been maybe only a crowd of 50 people. So he gets up to leave and starts to walk out and his bodyguards follow him and hes walking down Yonge street to do some radio interview at the Edge.
Guy has 4 bodyguards with him and only 5 people following him down the street. I extend my hand and say Billy I seen you when you played at the Colliseum many years ago great show (it wasn't). Didnt even bother extending a hand or a nod. So 2 of his security/bodyguards come over and tell me to wait until after the interview is over before trying to shake his hand. Like **** em if I'm going to do that as if its some great honour to shake his hand so I leave.

John Stockton. Wouldn't give us the time of day. 30 seconds behind him, Karl Malone was willing to sign autographs and take a pic.

The good:

Murray Brumwell (lives here, mutual friends--great stories & a great/humble guy)
Pat Riley
Clyde Drexler
Daniel Negreanu
Mark Hesnby--watched him golf in Vegas. Hit one right, about hit me. Asked me to hold the rope. "Long and wide, not a good combo, Mate" nice guy.
Alex English/TR Dunn--walking thru McNichols arena, they were w/ trainer.

Geez, I think I just gave my age away.

Bo Jackson. Went to the same high school been tho I am younger we grew up sorta in the same area. Seen him in the store and said what's up and he looked at me like I was ignorant. He has done nothing to help the high school. They are considering taking his name off the sign at the football field.

One year I was at spring training for the Indians in Winter Park, Florida I saw Albert Belle do the biggest asshole move ever.

This kid was begging him to sign a ball... over and over repeating his name..."albert please!!! albert pleeeease" this goes on for atleast 2-3 minutes... finally albert walks out of the batting cage to the kid... signs the ball, hands him back his pen and throws the ball into the middle of a lake... lmao it was so fuked up

Wow that is bad. This is why I could give a rats ass if someone is famous. Some of these D-Bags don't deserve the money or fan fair they receive.

The Good-
Willie McGinest
David Givens (prob one of the nicest person I've ever met)

The Bad-
Deion Branch- a true asshole in every sense of the word and left a shitty ass tip

Never understood why people think its ok to go up to a celebrity or athlete when they are trying to just get through their day without a bunch of jackoffs bothering them.

If the person is in a public place on their own time they shouldn't be bothered. If your going out to meet the public and promoting yourself different story especially when your no longer in demand and you think your something great then you become the jackoff.
